Following an incredibly generous grant, we’re currently working towards designing our very own Hub.
The Hub will be based in the grounds of one of our supported living properties, and used both as a base to meet up before heading out and about and as a space for us to provide various training sessions (food hygiene, fire safety first aid), living skills sessions (including cookery, and nutrition, shopping and budgeting), gardening (linking with our garden project) and other therapeutic workshops, such as sewing and textiles.
We have recently been granted planning permission! Work will begin shortly to prepare the site, and start the ground works before construction of the Hub can begin. Due to the unfortunate delays we have experienced in gaining planning permission, we are now planning to open the Hub in 2024.
